The hill just feels less steep

Sensors read the angle and speed of each leg about a thousand times a second. When your leg starts to swing forward, the motor on that side adds torque in the direction you are already moving. Stand still and it does nothing.

You do not feel pushed. You feel the gradient go soft.

How it works

The part nobody else puts on the homepage

It weighs about 2.5 kg. You notice it in the car park and you forget it on the first real climb. On a flat two-hour walk it is dead weight, and we would rather tell you that here than read it in a return request.

Buy it for the ascents and the descents. That is where it earns the weight back.
